Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Set the heating mode to top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Rinse the chicken under running water. Pat it completely dry with a kitchen towel. Cut the chicken into four pieces.
  3. 3. Place the chicken pieces skin-side up in a baking dish that you have previously greased with a little oil.
  4. 4. Wash one orange under hot water and dry it thoroughly. Grate the orange peel finely. Squeeze the juice from the orange.
  5. 5. Cut the second orange into wedges.
  6. 6. Whisk the orange zest, orange juice, olive oil, rosemary, and honey together in a small bowl to make a marinade.
  7. 7. Season the marinade with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. 8. Brush the chicken pieces generously with the marinade.
  9. 9. Distribute the orange wedges evenly over the chicken in the baking dish.
  10. 10. Place the dish in the oven and bake the chicken for about 30 minutes.
  11. 11. Baste the chicken occasionally with the pan juices during cooking. Add a little water if necessary to prevent the sauce from reducing too much.
  12. 12. Taste the sauce at the end and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
  13. 13. Serve the chicken with the sauce.
  14. 14. Serve a fresh leaf salad on the side if you like.
