🍽️ Orange Quark Yogurt Dessert

Ingredients
- 125 g small oranges (1 small orange)
- 20 g almond kernels (1 heaped tbsp)
- 20 g whole wheat zwieback (2 slices)
- 80 g low-fat quark (4 tbsp)
- 80 g yogurt (1.5% fat) (4 tbsp)
- 1 tsp liquid honey
- 1 sprig mint
Instructions
- 1. Peel the orange thickly, removing the white pith.
- 2. Quarter the orange and cut it into approx. 1 cm cubes.
- 3. Catch the released juice in a bowl.
- 4. Roughly chop the almond kernels with a large knife.
- 5. Toast the almonds in a pan over low heat until golden brown.
- 6. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 7. Place the toast slices into a freezer bag.
- 8. Crush the slices into coarse crumbs using a rolling pin.
- 9. Mix the crumbs with the toasted almonds.
- 10. Stir quark, yogurt, honey, and orange juice in a small bowl until smooth.
- 11. Layer the crumb-almond mix, quark cream, and orange pieces alternately in a tall glass or bowl.
- 12. Finish the layering with a layer of quark cream.
- 13. Wash the mint and shake it dry.
- 14. Garnish the orange cream with the mint.
