🍽️ Soothing Tea with Orange Blossom and Lemon Balm

Ingredients
- 2 stalks lemon balm
- 3 tbsp dried orange blossom
- 1 large piece cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp orange blossom water
- liquid sweetener (to taste)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fresh lemon balm under running water.
- 2. Gently shake the leaves dry.
- 3. Pluck the small leaves off the stems.
- 4. Set aside a few leaves for garnish.
- 5. Roughly chop the remaining lemon balm.
- 6. Place the chopped lemon balm into a glass bowl or glass measuring cup.
- 7. Add the orange blossoms to the lemon balm.
- 8. Break the cinnamon stick into three roughly equal pieces.
- 9. Add one of the cinnamon pieces to the tea mixture.
- 10. Pour 500 milliliters of boiling water over the ingredients.
- 11. Cover the bowl or cup.
- 12. Let the tea steep for about 6 to 8 minutes.
- 13. Stir the tea mixture once gently.
- 14. Strain the tea through a sieve into your cups.
- 15. Place one piece of the cinnamon stick into each cup.
- 16. Stir in half a teaspoon of orange blossom water for each cup.
- 17. Sweeten the tea to your liking with sweetener.
- 18. Garnish the finished tea with the reserved lemon balm leaves.
