🍰 Moist Orange Chocolate Biscuits

Ingredients
- 100 g Choco Corn Flake
- 40 g block chocolate
- 80 g soft butter
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 80 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 50 g chopped almond kernels
- 25 g cocoa powder
- 2 drops rum flavoring (optional; or 1 tbsp rum)
- salt

- sugar (for the molds)
- 1 orange
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the oven and set it to 180 degrees Celsius for top and bottom heat.
- 2. Grease six small, heatproof molds with some fat.
- 3. Coat the greased molds evenly with sugar.
- 4. Fill the oven's fat pan with water.
- 5. Place the fat pan into the preheated oven.
- 6. Put the cornflakes into a freezer bag.
- 7. Seal the bag tightly.
- 8. Crush the cornflakes into fine crumbs using a rolling pin.
- 9. Chop the chocolate into very small pieces.
- 10. Mix the butter and 40 grams of sugar with a mixer until creamy.
- 11. Separate the eggs so that you have distinct egg yolks and egg whites.
- 12. Stir the egg yolks one by one into the butter-sugar mixture.
- 13. Add the crushed cornflakes to the mixture.
- 14. Add the almonds to the mixture.
- 15. Add the chopped chocolate to the mixture.
- 16. Sprinkle the cocoa into the mixture.
- 17. Add the orange zest to the mixture.
- 18. Add the rum flavoring to the mixture if desired.
- 19. Add a pinch of salt to the mixture.
- 20. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 21. Beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar until stiff.
- 22. Gently fold the stiffly beaten egg whites into the batter.
- 23. Fill the molds two-thirds full with the mixture.
- 24. Place the molds in the water bath in the oven.
- 25. Bake the cakes for about 25 minutes at 180 degrees.
- 26. Wash the orange thoroughly.
- 27. Dry the orange.
- 28. Grate a few thin strips of orange zest.
- 29. Cut the rest of the orange into thin segments.
- 30. Remove the molds from the oven after baking.
- 31. Let the cakes cool in the molds.
- 32. Garnish the cooled cakes with the orange segments.
- 33. Sprinkle the cakes with the orange zest.
