🍳 Orange-Peach Jam

Ingredients
- 4 unpeeled oranges
- 400 g ripe peaches
- 20 ml orange liqueur
- 500 g jam sugar (1:1)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
Instructions
- 1. Peel the oranges. Remove the white pith as well. Separate the fruit segments from the membranes. Catch the juice that escapes.
- 2. Squeeze the orange peels. Catch this juice as well.
- 3. Blanch the peaches with hot water. Immediately cool them in cold water. Remove the skin. Cut the peaches in half. Remove the pits. Dice the flesh into small cubes. You should get about 300 grams of fruit.
- 4. Cut the orange segments into small pieces as well.
- 5. Mix the oranges, peaches, juice, liqueur, and sugar in a bowl.
- 6. Let the mixture sit for two hours.
- 7. Add the spices to the fruit mixture in a pot.
- 8. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 9. Let the jam simmer vigorously for four minutes.
- 10. Remove the spices from the jam.
- 11. Fill the hot jam into prepared jars.
- 12. Seal the jars tightly.
- 13. Turn the jars upside down for ten minutes.
- 14. Turn the jars back over.
- 15. Let the jam cool down completely.
- 16. Store the jars in a cool and dark place.
