🍝 Pasta with Fresh Oranges

Ingredients
- 400 g Fusilli
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 3 Oranges (unwaxed)
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add some salt to the water. Cook the pasta in it until it is al dente (firm to the bite).
- 2. Take two oranges. Cut off the peel with a sharp knife. Remove all white pith from the fruit. Cut the oranges in half lengthwise. Cut the halves into half-moon slices.
- 3. Season the orange slices generously with pepper. Add some olive oil. Mix everything well together.
- 4. Squeeze the third orange. Pour the juice over the marinated orange slices.
- 5. Take a fine grater. Grate very fine strips from the peel of the third orange. These strips are called citrus zest.
- 6. Drain the cooking water from the pasta. Let the pasta drain for a short moment. Mix the pasta with the orange slices and the oil.
- 7. Divide the pasta onto plates. Sprinkle the orange zest over the top. Serve the dish immediately.
