  1. 1. Cook the rice in salted water until it is al dente. Follow the instructions on the package.
  2. 2. Rinse the orange under hot water and pat it dry.
  3. 3. Finely grate the orange peel and squeeze out the juice.
  4. 4. Wash the herbs and shake off excess water.
  5. 5. Finely chop the herbs.
  6. 6. Mix the herbs with the orange juice, orange peel, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
  7. 7. Brush a baking dish with the remaining oil.
  8. 8. Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry.
  9. 9. Turn the salmon fillets in the marinade so they are well coated.
  10. 10. Chop the nuts coarsely.
  11. 11. Spread the cooked rice in the prepared baking dish.
  12. 12. Fold the nuts into the rice.
  13. 13. Place the marinated salmon fillets on top of the rice.
  14. 14. Drizzle the remaining marinade over the salmon.
  15. 15. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (180 °C for fan-assisted or gas mark 3).
  16. 16. Bake the dish in the preheated oven for approx. 20 minutes.
