  1. 1. Cut three pomegranates in half horizontally.
  2. 2. Remove the seeds from the three halved fruits.
  3. 3. Press the removed seeds through a fine sieve to extract the juice.
  4. 4. Catch the extracted juice in a bowl.
  5. 5. Remove the seeds from the fourth remaining pomegranate.
  6. 6. Peel the oranges completely using a sharp knife.
  7. 7. Remove the white bitter pith underneath the peel as well.
  8. 8. Carefully cut out the orange fillets along the separating membranes.
  9. 9. Catch the juice released by the fillets.
  10. 10. Squeeze the remaining orange peels to get more juice.
  11. 11. Cut the removed orange fillets into small pieces.
  12. 12. Mix the pomegranate juice, pomegranate seeds, orange fillets, and lemon juice in a pot.
  13. 13. Add the squeezed orange juice until you have a total of 1 liter of liquid.
  14. 14. Stir the jam sugar into the mixture.
  15. 15. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
  16. 16. Let the marmalade boil vigorously for 4 minutes.
  17. 17. Stir constantly while boiling to prevent burning.
  18. 18. Fill the hot marmalade immediately into previously rinsed hot jars.
  19. 19. Seal the jars tightly with the lids.
  20. 20. Place the sealed jars upside down on their lids for 15 minutes.
  21. 21. Turn the jars back over afterwards.
  22. 22. Let the marmalade cool down completely in the jars.
