  1. 1. Peel the shallot and garlic. Chop both ingredients finely.
  2. 2. Wash the zucchini. Cut it in half lengthwise and slice it.
  3. 3. Rinse the salmon fillet. Pat it dry and cut it into small pieces or strips.
  4. 4. Grate the Parmesan finely.
  5. 5. Heat the oil in a large pot.
  6. 6. Sauté the shallot and garlic in it for 2 minutes over medium heat.
  7. 7. Deglaze with the broth.
  8. 8. Add the pasta.
  9. 9. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
  10. 10. Pour in the milk.
  11. 11. Bring everything to a boil.
  12. 12. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  13. 13. Fold in the zucchini and Parmesan.
  14. 14. Cook for another 3 minutes.
  15. 15. Distribute the salmon strips on top.
  16. 16. Cook for 5 minutes until the fish and pasta are done.
  17. 17. Meanwhile, wash the basil.
  18. 18. Shake off excess water.
  19. 19. Cut the leaves into strips.
  20. 20. Season the pasta with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  21. 21. Sprinkle the basil strips over the one-pot pasta with salmon.
