  1. 1. Put the pasta, milk, and butter into a pot. Heat the mixture over medium temperature until it boils. Reduce the heat slightly and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  2. 2. Once the pasta is tender, add the salt and Cheddar cheese. Season to taste with extra cheese, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. Melt the butter for the breadcrumbs in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Stir the ground bread (or breadcrumbs, panko, or plain breadcrumbs) constantly in the butter until it is golden brown and toasted.
  5. 5. Spread the toasted breadcrumbs and some parsley over the finished Mac and Cheese and serve immediately.
