  5. 5. Slice the remaining chili pepper into rings.
  6. 6. Rinse the cod fillets under cold water.
  7. 7. Pat the fish dry with a kitchen towel.
  8. 8. Cut the fish into bite-sized pieces.
  9. 9. Drizzle the fish pieces with lemon juice.
  10. 10. Season the fish with salt and pepper.
  11. 11. Heat oil and butter in a large frying pan.
  12. 12. Whisk the eggs in a bowl.
  13. 13. Season the eggs with salt and pepper.
  14. 14. Pour the egg mixture into the hot pan.
  15. 15. Distribute the fish pieces evenly over the still liquid eggs.
  16. 16. Place the chili rings on top of the omelette.
  17. 17. Cover the pan with a lid.
