🍽️ Goat Cheese Omelet with Fresh Basil

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- salt
- pepper
- 150 g goat cream cheese
- 1 bunch basil
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- 1. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.
- 2. Season the egg mixture generously with salt and pepper.
- 3. Cut the goat cheese into coarse, bite-sized cubes.
- 4. Slice the basil into thin strips, but keep 5 to 6 whole leaves for garnish.
- 5. Add the goat cheese cubes and the basil strips to the egg mixture.
- 6. Heat the butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- 7. Pour the egg and cheese mixture into the hot pan.
- 8. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pan with a lid.
- 9. Let the omelet set until it is firm but still moist.
- 10. Remove the pan from the heat and place the reserved basil leaves on top of the omelet.
- 11. Serve the omelet immediately while warm.
