  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with top heat.
  2. 2. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until semi-stiff.
  3. 3. Fold the egg yolks and cream into the egg whites.
  4. 4. Cut the ham into small pieces.
  5. 5. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in an omelet pan.
  6. 6. Sauté one quarter of the ham pieces in the hot butter.
  7. 7. Pour one quarter of the egg mixture over the ham.
  8. 8. Season the mixture with pepper and a pinch of salt.
  9. 9. Sprinkle some cheese over the omelet.
  10. 10. Place the pan in the oven for about 5 minutes.
  11. 11. Allow the omelet to set and brown slightly.
  12. 12. Remove the finished omelet from the oven.
  13. 13. Repeat steps 5 to 12 for the remaining three omelets.
  14. 14. Serve the omelets immediately after baking.
