🍽️ Crispy Cheese and Ham Omelettes

Ingredients
- 8 Eggs
- 4 tbsp Heavy cream
- 150 g Cooked ham (in slices)
- 4 tbsp Butter
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Salt
- 100 g grated cheese (e.g. Emmental)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with top heat.
- 2. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until semi-stiff.
- 3. Fold the egg yolks and cream into the egg whites.
- 4. Cut the ham into small pieces.
- 5. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in an omelet pan.
- 6. Sauté one quarter of the ham pieces in the hot butter.
- 7. Pour one quarter of the egg mixture over the ham.
- 8. Season the mixture with pepper and a pinch of salt.
- 9. Sprinkle some cheese over the omelet.
- 10. Place the pan in the oven for about 5 minutes.
- 11. Allow the omelet to set and brown slightly.
- 12. Remove the finished omelet from the oven.
- 13. Repeat steps 5 to 12 for the remaining three omelets.
- 14. Serve the omelets immediately after baking.
