🍽️ Minced Meat and Pepper Omelettes

Ingredients
- 400 g minced meat
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 red bell peppers
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- cumin (ground)
- 6 eggs
- 150 ml milk
- 80 g cornstarch
- freshly chopped parsley
- spring onion rings
Instructions
- 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large frying pan.
- 2. Add the minced meat to the hot pan.
- 3. Fry the meat until it is crumbly.
- 4. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly.
- 5. Halve the bell peppers.
- 6. Remove the seeds and the white pith.
- 7. Dice the pepper vegetables into small cubes.
- 8. Add the diced peppers to the fried minced meat.
- 9. Stir the crème fraîche into the meat and pepper mixture.
- 10. Season the filling with salt, pepper, and cumin.
- 11. Keep the filling warm over low heat.
- 12. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.
- 13. Add the milk to the eggs.
- 14. Add the flour to the egg and milk mixture.
- 15. Add a pinch of salt.
- 16. Stir everything until smooth with no lumps remaining.
- 17. Heat some oil in a non-stick frying pan.
- 18. Pour about one quarter of the egg batter into the hot pan.
- 19. Fry the omelette for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
- 20. Let the egg set until it is firm.
- 21. Place about one quarter of the minced meat filling on one half of the omelette.
- 22. Fold the omelette in half.
- 23. Place the omelette onto a plate.
- 24. Garnish the finished dish with parsley.
- 25. Garnish the dish additionally with spring onions.
- 26. Serve the omelette immediately.
