🍳 Classic Omelette with Potatoes and Apples

Ingredients
- 200 g potatoes (2 potatoes)
- 150 g small tart apples (1 small tart apple)
- 2 tsp oil (e.g. sunflower oil)
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsp mineral water (with carbonation)
- salt
- pepper
- 30 g turkey bacon (2 slices)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes.
- 2. Slice the potatoes thinly.
- 3. Wash the apple thoroughly.
- 4. Dry the apple with a cloth.
- 5. Cut the apple into quarters.
- 6. Remove the core from the apple.
- 7. Dice the apple flesh into small cubes.
- 8. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan.
- 9. Fry the potato slices over medium heat.
- 10. Turn the potatoes frequently to ensure even cooking.
- 11. Fry the potatoes for about 10 minutes.
- 12. Add the apple cubes to the pan after 5 minutes.
- 13. Cook the apple cubes along with the potatoes.
- 14. Get a small bowl in the meantime.
- 15. Whisk the eggs into the bowl.
- 16. Pour the mineral water into the eggs.
- 17. Stir the egg mixture well with a spoon.
- 18. Season the egg mixture with salt.
- 19. Season the egg mixture with pepper.
- 20. Pour the egg mixture over the potato and apple mixture in the pan.
- 21. Let the omelette set and firm up.
- 22. Get a second non-stick pan.
- 23. Fry the turkey bacon slices in the second pan.
- 24. Fry the bacon until crispy over medium heat.
- 25. Place the fried bacon on kitchen paper.
- 26. Let the excess fat drain from the bacon.
- 27. Pat the bacon dry all around to remove any remaining fat.
- 28. Place the bacon on top of the finished omelette.
