🍳 Grandma's Onion and Rosemary Bread

Ingredients
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 500 g wheat flour Type 550
- 200 ml lukewarm water
- 50 g melted butter
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 2 tsp chopped rosemary needles
- 2 onions (finely chopped)
Instructions
- 1. Mix the flour with the dry yeast in a large mixing bowl.
- 2. Add the melted butter, salt, chopped rosemary needles, and chopped onions.
- 3. Pour in the lukewarm water.
- 4. Knead the ingredients into a smooth, elastic dough using the dough hooks of an electric mixer.
- 5. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place (e.g., in an oven preheated to 50°C) for about 30 minutes.
- 6. Grease a flower pot with butter.
- 7. Place a small piece of aluminum foil over the opening of the pot.
- 8. Knead the dough thoroughly on a floured work surface.
- 9. Place the dough into the prepared flower pot.
- 10. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 1 hour.
- 11. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool down for a short while.
- 12. Turn the bread out of the pot.
- 13. Let the bread cool down completely.
