  2. 2. Pat the fillets dry gently with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Cut the fillets into small, bite-sized pieces.
  4. 4. Peel the onion.
  5. 5. Dice the onion finely.
  6. 6. Wash the apples.
  7. 7. Peel the apples.
  8. 8. Halve the apples.
  9. 9. Remove the core from the apple halves.
  10. 10. Cut the apple halves into fine cubes.
  11. 11. Cut the gherkins into fine cubes as well.
  12. 12. Set aside one to two tablespoons of the pickle juice.
  13. 13. Stir the sour cream with the yogurt.
  14. 14. Stir the mayonnaise into the cream-yogurt mixture.
  15. 15. Add the reserved pickle juice.
  16. 16. Add the lemon juice.
  17. 17. Stir everything into a smooth sauce.
  18. 18. Season the sauce with salt to your liking.
