  1. 1. Pour the cream over the breadcrumbs and let the mixture swell. Peel the onions, chop them finely, and sauté them in the butter. Mix the minced meat with the soaked breadcrumbs, cream, onions, eggs, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2. Wash and peel the carrots. Cut them lengthwise into sticks. Clean the leek, wash it, separate the leaves, and slice the rest into rings. Blanch the vegetables for 3 to 5 minutes (cook briefly in boiling water).
  3. 3. Grease a loaf pan. Fill it with half of the meat mixture and smooth it out. Place the leek leaves in the center, cover them with the carrot sticks, and cover everything with more leek leaves. Spread the remaining meat mixture evenly on top.
  4. 4. Bake the meatloaf in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 1.4 hours. Sauté the remaining vegetables briefly in hot butter near the end of the cooking time. Turn the meatloaf out of the pan, surround it with the vegetables, slice it, and serve.
