🍰 Grandma's Crispy Butter Rings

Ingredients
- 3 egg yolks (hard boiled)
- 1 egg yolk
- 150 g powdered sugar
- Mark 1/2 vanilla pods
- 250 g soft butter
- 400 g flour
- 1 packet cake glaze
- lemons
- sprinkles
- chopped almond kernels
Instructions
- 1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and cut them in half.
- 2. Carefully remove the yolks and save the egg whites for another use.
- 3. Press the yolks through a fine sieve into a bowl.
- 4. Add the fresh egg yolk, powdered sugar, and vanilla seeds.
- 5. Whisk the mixture until it is creamy and smooth.
- 6. Fold in the soft butter.
- 7. Add the flour spoonful by spoonful and knead it in briefly.
- 8. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- 9. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 0.5 centimeters.
- 10. Cut out small rings with a diameter of 6 to 7 centimeters.
- 11. Place the rings on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 13. Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
- 14. Brush the still warm rings thinly with lemon glaze.
- 15. Immediately sprinkle them with a mixture of nonpareils and chopped almonds.
