🍳 Crunchy Olive Stick Bread

Ingredients
- 0.5 cube yeast
- 50 g black olives (pitted)
- 175 g flour
- 175 g spelt flour (Type 630)
- 1 tsp salt
- 5 tbsp olive oil (50 g each)
Instructions
- 1. Pour 200 ml of lukewarm water into a bowl.
- 2. Crumble the yeast into the water and stir until dissolved.
- 3. Chop the olives coarsely.
- 4. Add flour, spelt flour, salt, and the chopped olives to the yeast mixture.
- 5. Add the olive oil as well.
- 6. Knead everything with the dough hooks of a hand mixer until you have a smooth dough.
- 7. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel.
- 8. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 9. Take thick wooden sticks about 60 cm long.
- 10. Remove the bark from one end of the sticks or wrap that end in aluminum foil.
- 11. Knead the dough once more briefly.
- 12. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.
- 13. Wrap each dough portion tightly around a wooden stick.
- 14. Grill the breads over the hot grill.
- 15. Grill them for 10 to 15 minutes until they are brown.
