  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
  2. 2. Cut the tomatoes and the whole garlic bulb in half crosswise.
  3. 3. Rub the cut surfaces of the tomatoes with the cut surface of the garlic bulb to lightly flavor them.
  4. 4. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  5. 5. Arrange the tomato and garlic halves on the sheet with the cut side facing up.
  6. 6. Crumble the slice of bread into small pieces.
  7. 7. Sprinkle the bread crumbs and pine nuts evenly over the tomato halves.
  8. 8. Finely chop 1 tablespoon of rosemary needles.
  9. 9. Sprinkle the chopped rosemary over the tomato halves.
  10. 10. Scatter the remaining rosemary sprigs around the tomatoes on the sheet.
  11. 11. Season the tomato halves with salt and pepper.
  12. 12. Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil.
  13. 13. Place the sheet in the center of the oven.
  14. 14. Bake the tomatoes for approx. 10 minutes.
  15. 15. Remove the tomatoes from the oven and serve them hot.
