🍽️ Oven Tomatoes with Pine Nuts

Ingredients
- 4 beefsteak tomatoes
- 1 fresh garlic bulb
- 1 slice white bread (e.g. toast bread, crumbled)
- 4 tbsp pine nuts
- 3 sprigs rosemary
- sea salt
- pepper (freshly ground)
- 6 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Cut the tomatoes and the whole garlic bulb in half crosswise.
- 3. Rub the cut surfaces of the tomatoes with the cut surface of the garlic bulb to lightly flavor them.
- 4. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- 5. Arrange the tomato and garlic halves on the sheet with the cut side facing up.
- 6. Crumble the slice of bread into small pieces.
- 7. Sprinkle the bread crumbs and pine nuts evenly over the tomato halves.
- 8. Finely chop 1 tablespoon of rosemary needles.
- 9. Sprinkle the chopped rosemary over the tomato halves.
- 10. Scatter the remaining rosemary sprigs around the tomatoes on the sheet.
- 11. Season the tomato halves with salt and pepper.
- 12. Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil.
- 13. Place the sheet in the center of the oven.
- 14. Bake the tomatoes for approx. 10 minutes.
- 15. Remove the tomatoes from the oven and serve them hot.
