  2. 2. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
  3. 3. Slice the potatoes lengthwise into thin slices or use a slicer.
  4. 4. Place the slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  5. 5. Drizzle the potatoes with 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
  6. 6. Season everything generously with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Roast the potatoes in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. 8. Turn the potato slices occasionally during the roasting time.
  9. 9. Clean the chanterelles and cut them into smaller pieces if necessary.
  10. 10. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  11. 11. Heat the remaining oil in a pan.
  12. 12. Sauté the garlic until translucent.
  13. 13. Add the mushrooms and herbs to the pan.
  14. 14. Fry the mixture for 5 to 8 minutes.
  15. 15. Wait until the mushroom liquid has completely evaporated.
