  1. 1. Slice the potatoes into very thin rounds.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan.
  3. 3. Fry the potato slices slowly over low heat until golden yellow.
  4. 4. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper.
  5. 5. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
  6. 6. Set aside 3 pieces of the spring onions for decoration.
  7. 7. Place the seasoned potatoes and the remaining spring onions into a baking dish.
  8. 8. Rinse the salmon fillets under running water.
  9. 9. Pat the fillets dry with a kitchen towel.
  10. 10. Place the salmon fillets on top of the potato layer.
  11. 11. Mix honey, paprika powder, pepper, curry, and oil into a paste.
  12. 12. Coat the salmon fillets evenly with this spice paste.
  13. 13. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
  14. 14. Place the baking dish on the middle rack.
  15. 15. Bake the salmon for about 15 minutes.
  16. 16. Check if the salmon is cooked through and the crust is brown.
  17. 17. Garnish the finished dish with the 3 reserved spring onions.
  18. 18. Serve the salmon hot immediately.
