🍽️ Oven salmon with marinated broccolini

Ingredients
- 600 g salmon fillet
- 2 garlic cloves
- 5 g ginger root
- 1 red chili pepper
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp brown rice syrup
- 2 tbsp red chili paste
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 3 tbsp light sesame oil
- 400 g broccolini
- salt
- 40 g light sesame seeds (3 tbsp)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the salmon fillet under cold water.
- 2. Pat the fish completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Peel the garlic clove and the piece of ginger.
- 4. Cut the garlic and ginger into coarse cubes.
- 5. Clean and wash the chili pepper.
- 6. Slice the chili into thin rings.
- 7. Mix soy sauce, fish sauce, rice syrup, chili paste, toasted sesame oil, and two tablespoons of light sesame oil in a bowl.
- 8. Add the chopped garlic and ginger pieces and the chili rings to the marinade.
- 9. Stir the marinade well.
- 10. Place the salmon fillet in the marinade.
- 11. Cover the bowl.
- 12. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for about one hour.
- 13. Turn the fillet once during the marinating time.
- 14. Remove any wilted leaves from the broccolini.
- 15. Wash the broccolini thoroughly.
- 16. Boil water in a pot with some salt.
- 17. Add the broccolini to the boiling water for one to two minutes.
- 18. Remove the broccolini from the water.
- 19. Rinse it briefly with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 20. Let the broccolini drain well.
- 21. Take the salmon fillet out of the marinade.
- 22. Place the fish on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 23. Stir the remaining marinade well to redistribute the sesame seeds.
- 24. Drizzle the salmon with the marinade.
- 25. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 26. Bake the fish for about ten minutes.
- 27. Remove the baking sheet from the oven briefly.
- 28. Arrange the broccolini stems around the salmon fillet.
- 29. Drizzle the vegetables with the remaining oil.
- 30. Put the tray back in the oven.
- 31. Bake everything for another five to ten minutes.
- 32. Remove the finished dish from the oven.
- 33. Serve the salmon together with the vegetables.
