  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Peel the onions and cut off the roots at the bottom, but leave the top stem intact.
  3. 3. Cut the onions in half lengthwise.
  4. 4. Place the onion halves on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  5. 5. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  6. 6. Place the mushrooms on the baking sheet as well.
  7. 7. Take the halloumi out of the package and cut it into cubes of about 1 cm.
  8. 8. Mix the olive oil with the parsley, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  9. 9. Brush the onions with about half of the oil mixture.
  10. 10. Mix the halloumi with the remaining oil.
  11. 11. Place the halloumi on the mushrooms.
  12. 12. Bake the dish for about 15 minutes in the oven.
  13. 13. Let the dish cool down briefly.
  14. 14. Serve the dish with fresh white bread.
