Ingredients
- 1 kg mostly waxy potatoes
- 3 tbsp rapeseed oil
- salt
- 2 sprigs parsley
- coarse sea salt
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into sticks about 1 centimeter thick.
- 3. Place the fries on a baking sheet.
- 4. Drizzle them with oil and sprinkle with a little salt.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius conventional heat (160 degrees Celsius fan-forced or gas level 2 to 3).
- 6. Bake the fries for about 35 minutes.
- 7. Turn the fries occasionally during baking so they become evenly crispy.
- 8. Wash the parsley and shake it dry.
- 9. Roughly chop the parsley leaves.
- 10. Sprinkle the finished fries with the chopped parsley and coarse sea salt.
- 11. Serve the fries immediately while hot.
