  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 225 °C. Use fan-forced air at 200 °C or gas level 3–4.
  2. 2. Peel the carrots and cut them in half lengthwise.
  3. 3. Peel the onions and slice them into rings.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a pan and briefly fry the carrots in it.
  5. 5. Season the carrots with salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Add the onion rings to the pan and cook everything together for 1 to 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Deglaze the mixture with the broth.
  8. 8. Stir the honey into the mixture.
  9. 9. Cover the pan and let the ingredients cook for 5 minutes.
  10. 10. Wash the spinach during this time.
  11. 11. Remove tough stems and wilted leaves from the spinach.
  12. 12. Let the spinach drain well.
  13. 13. Add the spinach to the carrots in the pan.
  14. 14. Cook the vegetables without the lid until the liquid has almost completely evaporated.
  15. 15. Transfer the entire mixture into a baking dish.
  16. 16. Crumble the feta cheese over the vegetables.
  17. 17. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top.
  18. 18. Season the dish once more with salt and pepper.
  19. 19. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake until golden brown for 10 minutes.
  20. 20. Remove the oven carrots from the oven.
  21. 21. Preheat a serving plate.
  22. 22. Arrange the carrots on the warm plate and serve.
