🍽️ Oven Fish Fillets with Mushroom-Bacon Butter

Ingredients
- 2 fish fillets skinless (each 160 g; e. g. pollock, pike-perch, salmon)
- salt
- black pepper (from the mill)
- 200 g mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 g breakfast bacon
- 2 tbsp herb butter
Instructions
- 1. Turn your oven to the grill setting and preheat it.
- 2. Cut the fish fillets in half crosswise so you have two smaller pieces per fillet.
- 3. Season the fish pieces lightly with salt and pepper.
- 4. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into quarters.
- 5. Peel the garlic cloves and slice them thinly.
- 6. Cut the bacon into small cubes.
- 7. Melt the herb butter in an oven-safe pan and let it foam slightly.
- 8. Add the mushrooms, garlic, and bacon to the hot butter.
- 9. Sauté the ingredients briefly over high heat.
- 10. Place the seasoned fish fillets in the pan with the mixture.
- 11. Place the pan in the preheated oven.
- 12. Gratin the fish for 8 to 10 minutes until it is cooked through.
- 13. Remove the pan from the oven.
- 14. Divide the fish fillets onto two plates.
- 15. Pour the mushroom-bacon butter from the pan over the fillets.
