Ingredients
- 4 sprigs tarragon
- 750 ml cold-pressed oil of your choice (e.g. sunflower oil, thistle oil, olive oil)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fresh tarragon sprigs under running water.
- 2. Pat the sprigs completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Place the dry tarragon sprigs into a clean and thoroughly dry bottle or jar.
- 4. Pour the oil over the herbs until they are completely covered.
- 5. Seal the bottle tightly and place it in a cool spot.
- 6. Let the oil infuse for about two weeks to allow the flavor to develop.
- 7. Pour the finished oil through a fine mesh sieve into a clean bottle or carafe.
- 8. Add one or two fresh tarragon sprigs to the bottle if desired.
