🍽️ Fruit Skewers with Toasted Coconut Yogurt Dip

Ingredients
- 0.5 Lemon
- 4 tbsp Coconut flakes
- 200 g Yogurt (0,3 % Fat)
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
- 1 kg seasonal fruit (e.g. Apples, Melon, Pineapple, Nectarines, etc.)
- a little Mint (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Squeeze the lemon to extract the juice.
- 2. Place the coconut flakes in a pan without adding extra fat.
- 3. Toast the coconut flakes over low heat for about 7 to 8 minutes until they turn golden brown.
- 4. Remove the toasted coconut flakes from the pan and let them cool on a plate.
- 5. Take half of the cooled coconut flakes and put them into a bowl.
- 6. Add yogurt, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, and maple syrup to the bowl.
- 7. Mix the ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
- 8. Wash the fruit thoroughly.
- 9. Remove seeds, stems, or other inedible parts from the fruit.
- 10. Peel the fruit if necessary.
- 11. Cut the fruit into bite-sized pieces.
- 12. Thread the fruit pieces decoratively onto the wooden skewers.
- 13. Sprinkle the finished fruit skewers with the remaining coconut flakes.
- 14. Serve the skewers immediately.
- 15. Garnish the dish with the yogurt dip and some fresh mint.
