  3. 3. Toast the coconut flakes over low heat for about 7 to 8 minutes until they turn golden brown.
  4. 4. Remove the toasted coconut flakes from the pan and let them cool on a plate.
  5. 5. Take half of the cooled coconut flakes and put them into a bowl.
  6. 6. Add yogurt, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, and maple syrup to the bowl.
  7. 7. Mix the ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
  8. 8. Wash the fruit thoroughly.
  9. 9. Remove seeds, stems, or other inedible parts from the fruit.
  10. 10. Peel the fruit if necessary.
  11. 11. Cut the fruit into bite-sized pieces.
  12. 12. Thread the fruit pieces decoratively onto the wooden skewers.
  13. 13. Sprinkle the finished fruit skewers with the remaining coconut flakes.
  14. 14. Serve the skewers immediately.
  15. 15. Garnish the dish with the yogurt dip and some fresh mint.
