🍽️ Warm Fruit Salad with Spices

Ingredients
- 1 dried red chili pepper
- 1 star anise
- 1 pinch cinnamon powder
- pepper
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 100 ml apple juice
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 nectarine
- 2 plums
- 100 g berries (blueberries and raspberries)
- 100 g blue grapes (preferably seedless)
Instructions
- 1. Place the chili pepper, star anise, cinnamon stick, a pinch of pepper, vanilla sugar, apple juice, and lemon juice into a pot.
- 2. Heat the mixture on the stove, but do not let it boil.
- 3. Thoroughly wash the nectarine and the plums.
- 4. Halve the fruits and remove the pits.
- 5. Cut the fruit halves into thin wedges.
- 6. Wash the berries and sort them so that only intact fruits remain.
- 7. Let the berries drain well.
- 8. Wash the grapes.
- 9. Peel the grapes if you wish.
- 10. Place all prepared fruits into a large bowl.
- 11. Gently mix the fruits.
- 12. Pour the warm spice broth over the fruits.
- 13. Let the fruit steep in the liquid for about 15 minutes.
- 14. Fill the fruit into jars as desired and serve.
