Ingredients
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 tbsp chive rings
- 250 g ripe Bavarian Camembert
- 1 tbsp soft butter
- 1 tbsp sour cream (or beer)
- 1 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Mash the cheese finely with a fork.
- 2. Mix the mashed cheese thoroughly with the butter.
- 3. Stir the sour cream into the cheese and butter mixture.
- 4. Add the finely diced onion to the bowl.
- 5. Add the finely diced bell pepper to the bowl.
- 6. Sprinkle the cumin over the mixture.
- 7. Season the spread with salt.
- 8. Season the spread with pepper.
- 9. Mix all ingredients until you have a homogeneous cream.
- 10. Taste the spread and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 11. Garnish the finished spread with fresh chives.
- 12. Serve the spread with rustic bread.
- 13. Serve fresh radishes as a side dish.
- 14. Pour a cold beer to drink with the meal.
