🍽️ Crunchy Hazelnut Macaroons

Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 250 g ground hazelnuts
- 40 hazelnut kernels
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius fan-assisted.
- 2. Whisk the egg whites together with the lemon juice in a bowl until stiff.
- 3. Slowly sprinkle the powdered sugar into the egg white mixture while stirring continuously.
- 4. Continue beating the mixture until it is glossy and firm.
- 5. Gently fold the hazelnuts into the mixture with a spoon.
- 6. Fill the nut mixture into a piping bag fitted with a large round nozzle.
- 7. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 8. Pipe walnut-sized mounds onto the prepared tray.
- 9. Place a single hazelnut on top of each mound as decoration.
- 10. Bake the macaroons in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- 11. Carefully remove the finished macaroons from the tray.
- 12. Let them cool down completely.
