🍽️ Fresh Pasta Salad with Basil

Ingredients
- 400 g Penne (short macaroni)
- salt
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 5 tbsp chicken broth (instant)
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 bunch basil
- 40 g ground pine nuts
- white pepper from the mill
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- 2. Cook the pasta in it for as long as indicated on the package until al dente.
- 3. Drain the pasta and rinse it briefly with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 4. Let the pasta drain well.
- 5. Pour the broth and vinegar over the drained pasta.
- 6. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 7. Stir the remaining olive oil into the pasta mixture.
- 8. Rinse the basil under running water.
- 9. Shake the basil dry.
- 10. Finely chop the basil leaves.
- 11. Add the chopped basil leaves and pine nuts to the pasta-oil mixture.
- 12. Season the salad with salt and pepper.
- 13. Mix everything well so that the ingredients are evenly distributed among the pasta.
