  1. 1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente (still firm to the bite). Drain, rinse briefly with cold water to stop the cooking process, and let them drain well.
  2. 2. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes to loosen the skin. Peel off the skin, remove the seeds, and cut the flesh into small cubes.
  3. 3. Peel the onion and chop it into very small pieces.
  4. 4. Whisk the olive oil with vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix the pasta, tomato cubes, and onion pieces with this dressing. Fill everything into a jar with a screw-top lid.
