🍝 Quick Beef Noodle Skillet

Ingredients
- 200 g Chinese egg noodles
- 400 g beef (for quick frying)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 300 g savoy cabbage leaves
- 2 red bell peppers
- 2 spring onions
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 125 ml vegetable broth
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of water and salt to a boil.
- 2. Cook the noodles in the salted water until they are al dente.
- 3. Drain the noodles and rinse them briefly with cold water.
- 4. Let the noodles drain well.
- 5. Cut the meat into thin, small pieces.
- 6. Peel the garlic.
- 7. Slice the garlic into thin rounds.
- 8. Wash the savoy cabbage leaves thoroughly.
- 9. Cut the savoy cabbage leaves into narrow strips.
- 10. Wash the bell pepper.
- 11. Remove the core of the bell pepper.
- 12. Cut the bell pepper into small cubes.
- 13. Wash the spring onions.
- 14. Trim the ends of the spring onions.
- 15. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
- 16. Heat oil in a large skillet.
- 17. Sauté the garlic slices briefly in the hot oil.
- 18. Add the meat pieces to the pan.
- 19. Add the bell pepper cubes to the pan.
- 20. Add the savoy cabbage strips to the pan.
- 21. Reduce the heat to a medium setting.
- 22. Sauté the vegetables and meat briefly.
- 23. Make sure the meat does not brown.
- 24. Pour the vegetable broth into the pan.
- 25. Pour the soy sauce into the pan.
- 26. Cover the pan with a lid.
- 27. Simmer the dish on low heat for 4 minutes.
- 28. Add the spring onion rings to the pan.
- 29. Cover the pan again.
- 30. Simmer the dish for another 4 minutes.
- 31. Gently fold in the drained noodles.
- 32. Let the noodles warm through in the pan briefly.
- 33. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the finished dish.
- 34. Serve the noodle skillet hot.
