  1. 1. Bring the water for the pasta to a boil in a large pot.
  2. 2. Add both types of pasta to the boiling salted water.
  3. 3. Cook the pasta until al dente, as indicated on the package.
  4. 4. Thoroughly wash the zucchini under running water.
  5. 5. Cut the zucchini into small, fine cubes.
  6. 6. Peel the onion and the garlic.
  7. 7. Cut the onion and garlic into small cubes.
  8. 8. Slice the chorizo sausage into thin rounds.
  9. 9. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large non-stick pan.
  10. 10. Fry the sausage slices, onions, and garlic in the pan.
  11. 11. Stir occasionally while doing so.
  12. 12. Fry the ingredients for about 3 minutes.
  13. 13. Add the cubed zucchini to the pan.
  14. 14. Fry everything together for another 5 minutes.
  15. 15. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  16. 16. Drain the cooked pasta in a colander.
  17. 17. Toss the pasta with the contents of the pan.
