  8. 8. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  9. 9. Sauté the shallots and garlic in the hot oil.
  10. 10. Add the zucchini slices to the pan.
  11. 11. Simmer the vegetables while stirring over low heat.
  12. 12. Continue cooking until the vegetables are lightly golden brown.
  13. 13. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  14. 14. Drain the spaghetti.
