🍝 Creamy Pasta with Tomato-Chili Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 50 g butter
- 1 small red chili pepper
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 200 ml meat broth
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tbsp fresh oregano
- 1 tbsp finely chopped basil
- 200 g crème fraîche
- 50 g whipping cream
- 40 ml vodka
- 400 g spaghetti
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Boil plenty of water in a large pot and add salt.
- 2. Cook the pasta in this salted water until it is al dente (firm to the bite).
- 3. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 4. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
- 5. Wash the chili pepper.
- 6. Slice the chili pepper lengthwise.
- 7. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
- 8. Finely chop the chili pepper.
- 9. Heat the butter in a pot.
- 10. Add the chopped onions to the hot butter.
- 11. Sauté the onions until they are translucent.
- 12. Add the chopped garlic and the chili pepper.
- 13. Sauté the garlic and chili mixture briefly.
- 14. Stir the tomato paste into the pan.
- 15. Add the broth and stir well.
- 16. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 17. Stir the crème fraîche and the cream into the sauce.
- 18. Let the sauce come to a brief boil.
- 19. Add the vodka and the herbs.
- 20. Stir everything well.
- 21. Drain the pasta.
- 22. Serve the pasta with the finished sauce.
