🍝 Penne with fresh tomato sauce

Ingredients
- 400 g Penne
- 500 g Tomatoes
- 1 Onion
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- Basil (Fresh)
- Oregano (Fresh)
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 4 tbsp Parmesan
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and chop it very finely.
- 2. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, let them sit briefly, and rinse them with cold water.
- 3. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 4. Cut the tomatoes into quarters and remove the seeds.
- 5. Cut the tomato flesh into small cubes.
- 6. Heat the oil in a pot.
- 7. Sauté the chopped onion in the hot oil.
- 8. Add the diced tomatoes to the pot.
- 9. Let the sauce simmer for about 8 minutes while stirring constantly.
- 10. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 11. Season the sauce with sugar, salt, and pepper.
- 12. Pluck the leaves off the herbs.
- 13. Cook the penne pasta according to the instructions on the package.
- 14. Serve the pasta together with the tomato sauce.
- 15. Sprinkle the dish with the fresh herbs.
- 16. Add grated Parmesan on top.
