  2. 2. Cook the pasta in this salted water until al dente (firm to the bite). Follow the instructions on the package.
  3. 3. Wash the zucchini thoroughly and slice it into thin rounds.
  4. 4. Heat some oil in a pan and sauté the zucchini slices briefly until they are soft but have not turned brown.
  5. 5. Stir the tomato paste into the pan and add 100 milliliters of water.
  6. 6. Add the pizza tomatoes and ketchup to the pan.
  7. 7. Bring the sauce to a boil while stirring constantly.
  8. 8. Season the sauce with fresh basil, salt, and pepper to your taste.
  9. 9. Drain the cooked pasta and reserve a little cooking water if needed.
  10. 10. Mix the drained pasta with the cream and fold it into the tomato and zucchini sauce.
  11. 11. Portion the pasta onto plates and garnish with fresh basil.
  12. 12. Serve grated cheese separately at the table so everyone can season to their liking.
