🍝 Creamy Tomato Pasta

Ingredients
- 400 g Linguine
- Salt
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp oil
- 800 g tomatoes (1 can)
- 100 g whipping cream
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Sugar
- Basil
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add some salt.
- 2. Cook the pasta in this salted water until it is al dente.
- 3. Peel the garlic clove and the onion.
- 4. Dice the garlic and onion finely.
- 5. Heat oil in a pan.
- 6. Sauté the onion cubes and garlic in the hot oil.
- 7. Add the tomatoes along with their juice to the pan.
- 8. Mash the tomatoes slightly with a spoon.
- 9. Add the cream to the tomato mixture.
- 10. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 11. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 12. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 13. Wash the basil under running water.
- 14. Pat the basil dry with a kitchen towel.
- 15. Slice the basil leaves into thin strips.
- 16. Fold the cut basil leaves into the warm sauce.
- 17. Drain the cooked pasta in a colander.
- 18. Mix the drained pasta with the tomato sauce.
- 19. Sprinkle the finished pasta with grated Parmesan.
- 20. Serve the pasta immediately.
