🍝 Quick Lemon Tuna Pasta

Ingredients
- 2 untreated lemons
- 1 shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tbsp butter
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 250 g green beans
- 400 g fusilli
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- sugar
- chili flakes
- 2 cans tuna (140 g each, in its own juice)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the lemon under hot water and dry it thoroughly.
- 2. Finely grate the outer peel of the lemon and squeeze out the juice.
- 3. Peel the shallot and the garlic and chop both ingredients very finely.
- 4. Heat the butter in a pan and sauté the shallots and garlic until translucent.
- 5. Deglaze the pan with the wine.
- 6. Add the lemon juice and the thyme.
- 7. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
- 8. Wash the beans and remove the hard ends.
- 9. Cut the beans into pieces about 4 centimeters long.
- 10. Cook the beans in salted water for about 8 minutes until al dente.
- 11. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente as well.
- 12. Drain the tuna and let it drain well.
- 13. Flake the tuna with a fork.
- 14. Add the lemon zest to the sauce.
- 15. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, sugar, and chili flakes.
- 16. Gently fold the pasta, beans, and tuna into the sauce.
- 17. Taste the dish one more time and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 18. Serve the pasta immediately.
