🍝 Pasta with Asparagus and Salmon

Ingredients
- 750 g green asparagus
- 300 g snow peas
- 2 tbsp butter
- 250 ml vegetable broth
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 350 g tagliatelle
- 250 g smoked salmon (sliced)
- basil (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the asparagus and snow peas thoroughly and let them drain. Trim off the woody ends and cut the asparagus into bite-sized pieces.
- 2. Heat the butter in a pan. Sauté the vegetables briefly while stirring, pour in the vegetable broth, and simmer with the lid on at medium heat for 10 minutes until tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper.
- 3. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until tender-crisp.
- 4. Cut the salmon into wide strips and mix it with the drained tagliatelle and the vegetables. Garnish the dish with fresh basil leaves.
- 5. Serve the pesto (from the jar) on the side.
