🍝 Asparagus Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
- 500 g green asparagus
- 2 red chili peppers
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml vegetable broth
- 250 g shrimp (ready to cook)
- 500 g orecchiette pasta
- salt
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped basil
- 1 dash lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Peel the bottom third of the asparagus stalks.
- 2. Cut the asparagus stalks diagonally into small pieces.
- 3. Wash the chili peppers.
- 4. Remove the stems and seeds of the chili and slice them into rings.
- 5. Peel the garlic.
- 6. Finely chop the garlic.
- 7. Heat oil in a pan.
- 8. Add the asparagus, chili, and garlic to the hot pan.
- 9. Sauté the ingredients briefly.
- 10. Deglaze the pan with the broth.
- 11. Let the mixture simmer for about 8 minutes.
- 12. Reduce the liquid until almost completely evaporated.
- 13. Add the shrimp to the pan.
- 14. Cook the shrimp along with the sauce for the last 3 to 4 minutes.
- 15. Cook the pasta in salted water al dente.
- 16. Add the basil to the asparagus mixture.
- 17. Season the sauce with lemon juice and salt.
- 18. Drain the pasta.
- 19. Toss the pasta in the sauce.
- 20. Add a little pasta cooking water if necessary.
- 21. Serve the pasta on plates.
