  1. 1. Wash the chard thoroughly.
  2. 2. Remove the tough stems from the chard.
  3. 3. Cut the chard leaves into thin strips.
  4. 4. Wash the tomatoes.
  5. 5. Remove the hard stem ends from the tomatoes.
  6. 6. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces.
  7. 7. Peel the onion.
  8. 8. Dice the onion into small cubes.
  9. 9. Heat some oil in a hot pan.
  10. 10. Sauté the onion cubes until translucent.
  11. 11. Add the chard strips to the pan.
  12. 12. Fry the chard briefly.
  13. 13. Add the tomato pieces.
  14. 14. Let the sauce simmer at medium heat for approx. 10 minutes.
  15. 15. Wait until the sauce thickens slightly.
  16. 16. Fill a large pot with water.
  17. 17. Bring the water to a boil.
  18. 18. Salt the water.
  19. 19. Cook the pasta al dente according to package instructions.
  20. 20. Season the vegetables with lemon juice.
  21. 21. Season the vegetables with salt.
  22. 22. Season the vegetables with cayenne pepper.
  23. 23. Drain the pasta.
  24. 24. Fold the drained pasta into the vegetables.
  25. 25. Add some pasta cooking water if needed.
  26. 26. Plate the pasta with chard.
