🍝 Classic Spaghetti with Cheese and Basil

Ingredients
- 200 g Spaghetti
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 50 g butter
- 40 g freshly grated Pecorino
- 2 tbsp finely chopped basil
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add some salt.
- 2. Cook the spaghetti al dente (firm to the bite) as indicated on the package.
- 3. Reserve half a cup of the pasta water before draining the noodles.
- 4. Drain the spaghetti and let them drain for a short moment.
- 5. Place the hot noodles immediately into a large bowl.
- 6. Add butter, the reserved pasta water, and fresh basil.
- 7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 8. Mix everything well until the ingredients are combined.
- 9. Warm up the serving plates if possible.
- 10. Portion the spaghetti onto the warm plates.
- 11. Sprinkle the dish generously with grated cheese.
- 12. Serve the pasta immediately while hot.
