🍝 Classic Pasta with Minced Meat Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 100 g parsley root
- 1 zucchini
- 0.5 bunch marjoram
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 300 g minced meat
- 800 g chunky tomatoes (ready-made product)
- 100 g whipping cream
- salt
- pepper
- 1 pinch sugar
- 500 g macaroni
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and cut it into fine cubes.
- 2. Peel the carrot and the parsley root.
- 3. Wash the zucchini and cut it into cubes.
- 4. Cut all vegetable pieces into cubes about half a centimeter in size.
- 5. Wash the marjoram and shake it dry.
- 6. Set aside a few stems of the marjoram.
- 7. Pluck off the remaining leaves and chop them finely.
- 8. Heat oil in a pan.
- 9. Sauté the onions and vegetable cubes in the hot oil.
- 10. Add the minced meat to the pan.
- 11. Fry the meat until it is crumbly.
- 12. Deglaze the mixture with the tomatoes.
- 13. Let the sauce simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
- 14. Wait until the sauce is thick and creamy.
- 15. Stir the cream into the sauce.
- 16. Fold in the chopped marjoram.
- 17. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
- 18. Cook the macaroni in plenty of boiling salted water.
- 19. Cook the pasta until firm to the bite (al dente).
- 20. Follow the instructions on the package.
- 21. Drain the pasta.
- 22. Toss the pasta immediately with the sauce.
- 23. Serve the dish.
- 24. Garnish it with the reserved marjoram stems.
