🍝 Spaghetti with Shrimp

Ingredients
- 400 g ribbon noodles
- 200 g snow peas
- 100 g frozen peas
- 16 shrimp (kitchen-ready)
- 6 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- grated parmesan
- parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the snow peas thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the tough ends from the snow peas.
- 3. Bring water to a boil and add salt.
- 4. Add the snow peas and peas to the boiling water.
- 5. Cook the vegetables for 5 minutes (this is called blanching, i.e., brief cooking in boiling water).
- 6. Remove the vegetables from the water.
- 7. Rinse the vegetables immediately with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 8. Let the vegetables drain well in a colander.
- 9. Bring fresh water with salt to a boil.
- 10. Cook the spaghetti in this water.
- 11. Cook the pasta until al dente (still firm to the bite).
- 12. Drain the pasta.
- 13. Let the pasta drip dry well.
- 14. Wash the shrimp.
- 15. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
- 16. Heat the butter in a pan.
- 17. Peel the garlic.
- 18. Press the garlic into the hot pan.
- 19. Add the shrimp to the pan.
- 20. Fry the shrimp briefly on both sides over high heat.
- 21. Add the drained pasta to the pan.
- 22. Add the drained peas and snow peas to the pan.
- 23. Toss everything briefly so the pasta absorbs the garlic butter.
- 24. Season the dish with salt.
- 25. Season the dish with pepper.
- 26. Divide the spaghetti among the plates.
- 27. Sprinkle the dish with grated Parmesan cheese.
- 28. Garnish the dish with fresh parsley.
