  1. 1. Wash the asparagus and cut the stalks into diagonal pieces.
  2. 2. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes briefly to shock them.
  3. 3. Remove the skin from the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
  4. 4. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and dice the flesh.
  5. 5. Peel the shallots and the garlic.
  6. 6. Finely chop the shallots and the garlic.
  7. 7. Cook the spaghetti in salted water al dente.
  8. 8. Add the asparagus pieces to the pasta five minutes before the end of the cooking time.
  9. 9. Drain the pasta and asparagus in a colander.
  10. 10. Rinse the vegetables and pasta with cold water.
  11. 11. Let the water drain briefly.
  12. 12. Heat olive oil in a pan.
  13. 13. Sauté the shallots and garlic briefly while stirring.
  14. 14. Add the shrimp to the pan.
  15. 15. Cook the shrimp for three to four minutes.
  16. 16. Add the asparagus, spaghetti, and tomatoes to the pan.
  17. 17. Heat all ingredients in the pan.
  18. 18. Crush fresh thyme leaves.
  19. 19. Season the dish with the thyme leaves.

  23. 23. Drizzle balsamic vinegar.
