🍝 Spaghetti with Shrimp and Asparagus

Ingredients
- 400 g green asparagus
- 3 tomatoes
- 400 g spaghetti
- 2 shallots
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g ready-to-cook shrimp
- fresh thyme leaves
- 1 pinch sugar
- salt
- cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Wash the asparagus and cut the stalks into diagonal pieces.
- 2. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes briefly to shock them.
- 3. Remove the skin from the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
- 4. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and dice the flesh.
- 5. Peel the shallots and the garlic.
- 6. Finely chop the shallots and the garlic.
- 7. Cook the spaghetti in salted water al dente.
- 8. Add the asparagus pieces to the pasta five minutes before the end of the cooking time.
- 9. Drain the pasta and asparagus in a colander.
- 10. Rinse the vegetables and pasta with cold water.
- 11. Let the water drain briefly.
- 12. Heat olive oil in a pan.
- 13. Sauté the shallots and garlic briefly while stirring.
- 14. Add the shrimp to the pan.
- 15. Cook the shrimp for three to four minutes.
- 16. Add the asparagus, spaghetti, and tomatoes to the pan.
- 17. Heat all ingredients in the pan.
- 18. Crush fresh thyme leaves.
- 19. Season the dish with the thyme leaves.
- 20. Add a pinch of sugar.
- 21. Season with a little salt.
- 22. Add cayenne pepper.
- 23. Drizzle balsamic vinegar.
